Million chain.... not english but very easy to play

That's one character design that i rarely see
Million chain, i stumbled upon this when i was browsing japan appstore. In short its "connect a panel/dot" style of game, its simple and really easy to understand, the art is nice, character art is mixed feeling however(there is reason for this however) and don't let the language let you down, this game is manageable even with zero knowledge of Japanese language.

Character art ranging from woa!!! to woa....
Before i go into the gameplay stuff, just a little bit about character design. What i found funny is, their quality is based from the card grade(star) that you get, a 1-2 star card might result in "decent" quality while 3-6 star card will get you a "superb" drawing style. Aside from the guest card (which obviously done by well known artist) I actually dont mind about this because just like any other card game, i doubt you will use low grade card, they're just fodder, material for upgrade etc, so in a way its like their way to save budget i guess.

its all about the picture
This is the main menu when you enter the game, the reason why i said the game is easy to navigate is pretty much that, they give the game a short english word to describe what menu does what, just this alone make the game become much less confusing for us who dont understand japanese, the picture also pretty much self explanatory. The rest of it is simple enough that you can pretty much guess from their icon (letter = mailbox, gacha, large middle icon = dungeon, and so on)

this month guest star is from madoka series
Nothing new from this you get your character from gacha style system, normal character is pretty easy to get (you can see from the screen i have 53 left to draw), high grade card require 5 ticket and getting ticket is "ok" i guess, i got ticket for each level, finish the whole dungeon, and from event. What i like about most japan ios/android game is that almost every game they make, they always have some sort of collaboration with other franchise (most of them is anime), this month they went with madoka series (last time they got attack of titan as their guest).

thats it. thats the gameplay, nothing fancy
So hows the battle? i actually like it, its simple, fast and again its easy to understand. The game is all about connecting color, basically you need to connect the same color tile for your character to attack, the tile that you connect must be of same color, locate next to each other and you must connect at least 3 tile to attack, portion of mana will fill up to whoever color card you successfully connected, once full you can use their skill. Each color go with each character so if you connect 5 orange tile then all your orange color character will attack, this result in some prep time before entering dungeon, you can bring "orange" color only party which result an all out attack everytime you match orange tile but, situation can get worse if your tile is low on orange since tile spawn is totally randomize. And lastly there is a "limit break" or sort in this game, once active you can connect as much as you can within certain time limit, this is usually your boss killer/opener move.

Each battle range from 2-5 "stage"
Enemy attack is time based so their timer will only go down everytime you finish a set of tile, this make the battle a little bit on "relax" side since you can take your time as they wont move until you finish your turn and there is no time limit from what i played so far. As for element, its all standard procedure no fancy stuff, this weak against that and so on (they give the picture so you can always check on them) and there is only 3 element in this game so that make thing even easier. The only downside from this game is the energy cost(as usual), they use energy + level system so the higher your level the more energy you have, i have about 22 energy at level 4 and normal dungeon require 2-4 energy to enter. And card skill, each card has their own skill (active and passive), i'm sure they are useful for later level when things start to get hard, but so far i manage to beat all dungeon with just pure firepower, so its all good i guess.

*something2* HP....  heal i guess?
Summary:
+ Simple but clean graphic. Nice effect too
+ Easy to understand thanks to simple english and self explanatory picture
+ Gameplay is easy and fun, some strategy is require especially at high end level
+ Music is pretty nice, nothing exceptional but it fit well with the game

- Card has skill which require some guessing and trial error if you dont know japanese
- Energy cost is depend on your level, i'm sure high level dungeon will require a lot of energy
- You might found the inventory is a bit limited

? Art quality is mixed, some of them is pretty and some of them is so so at best
